דרישות המשרה:
• תואר שני (חובה), תואר שלישי (יתרון) בתחום רלוונטי.
• יכולת כתיבה אקדמית ברמה גבוהה.
• ניסיון בעבודה עם מתודולוגיות מחקר כמותיות, כולל ידע בסיסי בתוכנות סטטיסטיות ובניקוי נתונים.
• ניסיון במתודולוגיות מחקר איכותניות, כולל עריכת וניתוח ראיונות.
• מיומנות בסקירת ספרות רלוונטית וכתיבת סקירות ספרות (באנגלית).
תחומי אחריות:
1. ביצוע סקירות ספרות.
2. תמיכה בתהליכי איסוף נתונים.
3. ניקוי, קידוד ואיחוד מאגרי נתונים קיימים.
4. ביצוע ראיונות חצי-מובנים כחלק ממחקר איכותני, הכנה ותמלול הראיונות לצורך ניתוח.
5. סיוע בבניית בסיס נתונים לפרויקט איכותני וניתוח הנתונים במשותף עם מנהל/ת המחקר.
6. סיוע בכתיבת מאמרים מדעיים על בסיס ממצאי המחקר.
המשרה מתוכננת להתחיל בתחילת 2025.

Research Assistant Position
We are seeking an outstanding candidate with a Master’s degree (with thesis), preferably a Ph.D., in geography, sociology, or a closely related social sciences discipline, for an academic research assistant position at the Technion, Haifa, in the field of spatial inequalities in the arts and cultural sectors. The selected candidate will join our research team to support diverse research projects and contribute to expanding knowledge in this area.
Job Requirements:
• M.A. degree (required), Ph.D. (preferred) in a relevant discipline.
• High-level academic writing skills.
• Experience with quantitative research methodologies, including basic knowledge of statistical software and data cleaning.
• Experience with qualitative research methodologies, including conducting and analyzing interviews.
• Proficiency in conducting and writing literature reviews (in English).
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct literature reviews.
2. Support data collection processes.
3. Clean, code, and merge existing datasets.
4. Conduct semi-structured interviews as part of the qualitative research, including preparation and transcription for analysis.
5. Assist in developing a database for the qualitative project and analyzing data alongside the principal investigator.
6. Support in writing academic papers based on research findings.
The position is set to begin in early 2025.
