קול קורא // למאמרים (כתב עת): שחיתות וצדק גלובלי [אנגלית] דדלין=1.3.25

While various historically influential philosophers from Plato to Montesquieu have pondered the subject of corruption, the topic has only recently begun to gain traction in contemporary philosophical debates. Frequently ranked among the most pressing global challenges, corruption stifles development and exacerbates global problems such as poverty, inequality, armed conflict, and the degradation of the environment. As such corruption is deeply linked to the concept of global (in)justice, and the pernicious and often diffuse nature of the problem raises important normative questions about how responsibilities to address it should be allocated. A recent work which makes headway on this important topic is Gillian Brock’s Corruption and Global Justice (Oxford University Press, 2023). FQP/PPI will publish book symposium issue dedicated to Corruption and Global Justice, and with the aim of contributing to this burgeoning academic debate we are also launching a call for submission of original papers discussing issues such as (but not limited to):

  • Political corruption
  • Institutional corruption
  • Systemic/structural corruption
  • Corruption and development
  • Corruption and global (in)justice
  • Corruption and induvial responsibility/whistleblowing
  • Global anti-corruption regimes
