Professor of Jewish Art, Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies, Germany (tenure/tenure track)


The successful applicant will hold a Ph.D. in Jewish Studies with a concentration in Jewish Art, or Art History with a concentration in Jewish Studies, or a comparable scholarly profile. Applicants are expected to represent the entire spectrum of Jewish Art as a field of study and possess a broad range of expertise in cultural history, including a profound knowledge of recent theories in cultural studies.
