Economic History Association (EHA) Conference
The next EHA conference will take place September 18-20, 2026 at the historic Chase Park Plaza hotel housed in St. Louis, Missouri – home of the Gateway Arch, MLB’s St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Zoo, and much more. EHA President Jean-Laurent Rosenthal invites you to join us as we meet for the 86th meeting of the Economic History Association. The theme of the conference is Structure and Change in Economic History, and we welcome submissions on all themes and subjects in economic history. The deadline to submit is January 31, 2026.
St. Louis is home to the Gateway Arch, the visual representation of the importance of the city to the movement of people and goods from East to West. With several attractions and historic sites, such as the Cahokia Mounds, within close proximity. The Chase Park Plaza Hotel, a Royal Sonesta branded property, is a National Trust Historic Hotel, built in 1922 across from the expansive Forest Park which includes the St. Louis Zoo. The hotel itself offers a cinema and several restaurants, and it is nearby one of the most popular restaurant districts in the city. The hotel rate can be obtained for three days pre and post conference, so bring your family and friends along with you to the conference.
