מטרת התכנית “לימוד בחברותא” היא לספק מצע לתלמידי ולתלמידות מחקר לדיון וחשיבה אודות סוגיות תיאורטיות, מתודולוגיות ואתיות משותפות בפורום תומך ואינטרדיסציפלינרי.
התכנית מעודדת שיתופי פעולה בין המשתתפים/ות והפקת תוצרים אקדמיים משותפים כגון אסופות מאמרים או מושבים בכנסים רלוונטיים.
להלן רשימת 10 הקבוצות אשר יפעלו במסגרת התכנית בשנת הלימודים תש”ף, בצירוף תיאור הפעילות המתוכננת.

1) קריאה: פרקטיקות, ייצוגים, היסטוריות
הקבוצה תעסוק בקריאה ככלי, פרקטיקה וצורת פרשנות ו/או ייצוג, ותתייחס למופעים השונים של קריאה אליהם אנחנו נחשפים במסגרת המחקר וחיי היומיום. במהלך המפגשים ננסה לבחון את הדרכים השונות בהן נעשה שימוש בקריאה באקדמיה ומחוץ לה; כיצד נלמדת הקריאה בלימודי הספרות, כיצד נתפסה הקריאה בתקופות שונות בהיסטוריה, באיזו צורה משמשת הקריאה בפרקטיקות דתיות, וכיצד שימוש זה מתרגם לפרקטיקות ומופעים של קריאה בהקשרים חילוניים, וכן ניתוח של קריאה בהקשרים חברתיים, תרבותיים וקוגניטיביים.
במפגשים ישתתפו דוקטורנטים מחוגים שונים (בין השאר מהחוגים לספרות, היסטוריה, אנתרופולוגיה וסוציולוגיה, מחשבת ישראל, מדע הדתות, פסיכולוגיה, קוגניציה ועוד), שמחקרם נוגע בדרך זו או אחרת בסוגיות אלו. הקבוצה תשאף להקיף מגוון רחב של פרספקטיבות ומתודולוגיות מחקר, ותתמקד בלמידה משותפת; נקרא יחד טקסטים תיאורטיים ונשתמש בהם כנקודת פתיחה לדיון באופני הפענוח והפרשנות השונים של פרקטיקת הקריאה, בהיבטים שונים של הקריאה ובדגשים שהמחקר הקיים מציע. תוך דיון תיאורטי ננסה לחשוב כיצד הקריאה והמחקר שלה באים לידי ביטוי בדיסציפלינות שונות, ונלמד על גישות מגוונות לחקר הקריאה, תוך בדיקה של הרלוונטיות של התיאוריה למחקרים האינדיבידואלים של חברי הקבוצה. בנוסף, הקבוצה תוכל לשמש כפלטפורמה לדיון במחקרים אישיים של משתתפים העוסקים בנושאים הנידונים.

Reading: Practices, Representations, and Histories
The group will investigate reading as a practice, tool, and form of representation and/or interpretation. We will concentrate on the different ways in which we encounter reading in daily life and our research. During our meetings, we will try to observe and think about the uses of reading in literature, history, religious and lay practices, and in various social, cultural, and cognitive contexts.
Ideally, the group will be comprised of research students from various departments and fields (literature, history, anthropology, sociology, religious studies, philosophy, psychology, cognition, and more), whose research relates in some way to the topics suggested. The group will seek to cover a broad range of perspectives and research methodologies. We will read theoretical texts together and use them as points of departure for discussions on the ways in which the practice of reading is investigated and interpreted, explore different views of reading and the discourse it offers, and examine directions in current research. Through the theoretical discussions, we will try to think about how reading and its study are expressed in different disciplines and learn about a variety of approaches to the study of reading. We will also examine the relevance of the theory to our individual research. In addition, the group can also serve as a platform for the discussion of the research of those group members interested in presenting their work.

2) נשיות במרחב הדתי: חוויה, נוכחות וייצוג
קבוצת החברותא תהווה במה אקדמית, מקצועית וחברתית שתאפשר לתלמידות מחקר לדון בסוגיות העולות בהצטלבות חקר הדתות ולימודי מגדר, תוך שימוש בתיאוריות, מתודולוגיות, הקשרים שונים וסוגיות מחקריות רלוונטיות למשתתפות.
קבוצת החברותא נשיות במרחב הדתי: חוויה, נוכחות וייצוג תעסוק בסוגיות של נוכחות נשים בעולם הדתי, החוויה הדתית הנשית, כמו גם ייצוגן של נשים בעולם הדתי. משתתפות הקבוצה ידונו בהקשר הרחב של סוגיות הקשורות בנשיות במרחב הדתי, כמו מנהגי החברה, ההיסטוריה הנוכחת בה, האידיאולוגיה ותפישות העולם המעורבות, כמו גם ביטויים ספרותיים ואמנותיים לאותם קונפליקטים או אפיקי צמיחה. קבוצת החברותא מזמינה חוקרות המתעניינות בשדות דומים אך מחוגים שונים, כדי לאפשר שיח מפרה ועיגון תיאורטי מגוון.
מטרת קבוצת החברותא היא ליצור לימוד עמיתים בנושא נשיות במרחב הדתי. המפגשים יכללו שיח אקדמי אינטרדיסציפלינרי ביקורתי וקשוב שיתרום למחקרם של המשתתפות ויעשיר את הידע והמחשבה שלהן. בהתאם לאופי הקבוצה שתתגבש, המפגשים יכללו מתן משוב על כתיבה אקדמית, או שיטות לפיתוח מחקר, לצד דיון ולמידה משותפת של נושאים נבחרים. חלק מהמפגשים יעסקו בהיבטים תיאורטיים ובשיטות מחקר רלוונטיות, וכן בלימוד של סוגיות עדכניות מהמחקר בארץ ובעולם. מפגשים אחרים יעסקו בדיון במחקר הספציפי של כל משתתפת וקבלת משוב.
הקבוצה תיפגש כעשר פעמים באוניברסיטה העברית בקמפוס הר הצופים, תוך התחשבות בלוח השנה האקדמי ולוחות החגים, בימי שלישי בין השעות 12:30-14:00.

Femininity in Religious Spheres: Experience, Presence, and Representation
This research group will serve as an academic, professional, and social platform for students interested in issues situated at the intersection of comparative religion and gender studies. Using a variety of theories and methodologies, the group will focus on topics such as the presence of women in the religious world, the religious experience of women, and the representation of women in the religious world. Discussions will examine the broader context of issues related to femininity in the religious sphere, such as social customs, history, ideology, and worldviews, as well as the literary and artistic expressions of these experiences, either as conflicts or avenues of growth.
In order to facilitate fruitful discourse and a variety of theoretical positionings, the group invites scholars from different departments, who are interested in similar fields, to participate. The goal of the group is to create peer education on the issue of femininity in the religious sphere. The resulting interdisciplinary academic discourse will contribute to the individual research of each of the participants and enrich their knowledge and thinking. Depending on the nature of the group that is formed, the meetings will include feedback on academic writing and methods for research development, alongside discussion and joint learning of selected topics. Some of the meetings will deal with theoretical aspects and relevant research methods, as well as the study of current issues from research in Israel and abroad, while other meetings will discuss the research of each participant and offer constructive feedback.
The group will meet every three weeks, on Mondays from 10:30 to 12:00, at the Hebrew University campus on Mt. Scopus. We will follow the regular academic schedule.

3) “בין השמשות”: פגיעות מיניות בראייה מודעת הקשר
הקבוצה תבקש ליצור מפגש בין תלמידי מחקר מכלל הדיסציפלינות העוסקים בתופעת הפגיעות המיניות על סוגיה (פגיעות בילדות ובבגרות, פגיעות מוסדיות, פגיעות בתוך ומחוץ למשפחה, פגיעות בקרב נשים וגברים ועוד), וכן בממשק שבין תפיסות של מיניות ופגיעות מיניות.
הקבוצה תדגיש התבוננות מודעת הקשר בסוגיה, כלומר עיסוק מורכב בסוגיה במגוון ההקשרים המעצבים אותה: תרבותית, דתית, משפטית , פסיכולוגית, היסטורית, חינוכית, תקשורתית, מגדרית וכדומה. במפגשים נשאף להאיר את מורכבות הצדדים “האפורים”, הבלתי מדוברים ובלתי מובנים מאליהם, תוך אתגור מתמיד של התפיסות המקובלות.
קבוצת החברותא תהווה פלטפורמה לשיתוף תכנים וידע באופן לא היררכי ושיתופי ולהתייעצויות בסוגיות מתודולוגיות ואתיות. כמו כן, תאפשר התבוננות בסוגיה מזוויות שונות: משפטית, פסיכולוגית, חינוכית, תקשורתית, אתית, חברתית וכדומה.

The Grey Areas of Sexual Abuse: Contextual Observations
The group seeks to create a connection between research students from all disciplines that deal with the phenomenon of sexual abuse and its derivatives (child and adult, institutional abuse, family and non-family cases, women and men vulnerability, consequences, etc.), as well as the encounters between abuse and sexual perceptions.
The group will focus on contextual aspects of the phenomenon, such as cultural, religious, legal, psychological, historical, educational, media, gender, etc. Our aim in the meetings will be to illuminate the ‘gray’ and unspoken areas of sexual abuse and to challenge conventional perceptions constantly. The group will operate as a platform for sharing thoughts, feelings, knowledge, and reflections in a non-hierarchical and collaborative space, as well as for consulting in areas of methodology and ethical issues. The group will strive to examine the issue of sexual abuse from different angles: legal, psychological, educational, communication, ethical, social, etc.
Tentative content:
Sexual abuse in religious societies; Child sexual abuse by authority figures in different cultures; Sexual abuse among the peer-group; Sexual abuse in cults; perceptions of professionals, parents and educators of CSA; the context-informed approach and SA; The encounter between personal and political / legal aspects of SA; safe environment programs, Aspects of sexual abuse disclosure processes; Ethical Issues and methodological challenges in sexual abuse research.

4) גלי מוח: קוגניציה, ביולוגיה ומה שביניהם
פעילות נוירונלית ריתמית היא תופעה רחבת היקף בממלכת החי, אשר מעסיקה מדענים מאז הגילוי של גלי אלפא על ידי האנס ברגר בשנות ה20 של המאה ה19. בשנים האחרונות עולה שוב העניין המחקרי בנושא, בעקבות פיתוח של כלי מדידה ושל שיטות סטטיסטיות אשר אפשרו תגליות חדשות שחשפו את תפקידם של גלי מוח בתפקוד התקין של המוח כמו גם במוח החולה. למרות כמעט מאה שנים של מחקר, נותרו שאלות פתוחות בכל הרמות – מהמנגנונים הביולוגיים העומדים מאחורי גלי-מוח, ועד לתפקידם הקוגניטיבי. מחקר גלי-מוח הוא רב-תחומי מטבעו: הוא משתמש בשיטות עיבוד מידע ודינמיקת אוסילטורים מפיזיקה, טכניקות ביולוגיות מתקדמות ברמת התא הבודד והרשת ויש לו השלכות נרחבות לתחומים רבים בקוגניציה, מדעי המוח ופסיכולוגיה.
מטרת הקבוצה שלנו היא כפולה: קודם כל, אנחנו שואפים לספק רקע רב-תחומי לחוקרים המתעניינים בגלי-מוח, המכסה מבוא לשיטות הניתוח הרלוונטיות וסקירה של התפקידים הקוגניטיביים הבסיסיים של גלי-מוח והמנגנונים הביולוגים המוכרים. באמצעות זאת אנחנו שואפים לכונן שפה משותפת ולהדגיש את המגוון הרחב של בעיות פתוחות בתחום. שנית, אנחנו מעוניינים לבסס קהילה פעילה של סטודנטים המתעניינים במחקר של גלי-מוח, מכיוון שאנחנו מאמינים ששיח פעיל בנושא הוא קריטי למעקב אחר הספרות הנרחבת בנושא ופיתוח התחום.

Brain-Rhythms: Cognition, Biology, and Everything In-between
Rhythmic neural activity is a wide-spread phenomenon in the animal kingdom which has fascinated scientists since the discovery of the alpha-wave by Hans Berger in the 1920s. In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in this phenomenon due to advances in measurement tools and statistical methods, which have enabled new findings, uncovering roles of brain-rhythms in health and disease. Despite almost a hundred years of research, there remain many open questions on all levels – from the biological mechanisms underlying brain-rhythms to their cognitive roles. The study of brain-rhythms is interdisciplinary by nature: it uses methods from signal processing and oscillator-dynamics in physics and advanced biological tools both at the single-cell and network levels and has broad implications for various fields in cognition, neuroscience, and psychology.
The aim of our group is two-fold: First, we wish to provide an interdisciplinary background for researchers who are interested in brain-rhythms, covering an introduction to the relevant analysis methods, and an overview of the basic cognitive roles of brain-rhythms and the known biological mechanisms behind this phenomenon. Through this, we aim to establish a common language and emphasize the variety of open questions in the field. Second, we wish to establish an active community of students who are interested in the study of brain-rhythms, as we believe active conversation among group members to be essential for following and interpreting the large and variable literature on this topic.

5) לספר סיפורים בעידן הדיגיטלי: ממשקים בין ספרות, יצירה ומדיה חדשים
קבוצת הקריאה תעסוק באופן בו סיפורים מתפתחים בעידן הדיגיטלי, בעיקר מבחינה סגנונית (פואטיקה) ותקשורתית (המדיום). נקרא טקסטים הנוגעים לצורות והשיטות החדשות בהן מספרים סיפורים בעידן המדיה החדשים, כמו גם ביסודות הסיפור הקלאסי. בין הנושאים בהם תדון הקבוצה: כתיבה תחת אילוצים, כתיבה אוטומטית, סיפורים המסופרים בעזרת חושים אחרים – למשל שמיעה או טעם, ממשקים של סיפור, מיתוג ופרסום, וסגנונות הסיפור העכשווים. הפלטפורמות בהן תתמקד הקבוצה הן ספרים, ספריות, רשתות חברתיות, משחקי מחשב, פודקאסטים, אמנות ויזואלית ואופנה.

Storytelling in the Digital Age: Interfaces between Literature, Creativity, and New Media
Our reading group will explore the ways in which stories take shape and evolve in the digital age, particularly from a stylistic (poetics) and communicative (the medium) perspective. Together, we will read texts that engage with new forms and methods through which stories are told in the age of new media, as well as texts that lay out some of the key principles of the classical story. The group will explore a range of topics, including constrained writing, automatic writing, stories told through alternative senses – such as hearing or tasting, storytelling in advertising and branding, and styles of contemporary stories. The platforms at the focus of our discussions will include books, libraries, social media, computer games, podcasts, visual art, and fashion.
The group will work rigorously and intensively throughout four months of activity. The meetings will be held on Tuesdays between 10:00-12:00, two hours each. Tentative dates: 24.12 | 7.1 | 28.1 | 11.2 | 25.2 | 10.3 | 24.3 | 7.4.

6) לימודי ביקורת מוגבלות
לימודי מוגבלות (disability studies) הינם שדה מחקר בינתחומי ביקורתי מתפתח המזהה במוגבלות תופעה חברתית-תרבותית פוליטית. שדה זה כולל גישות מחקר מגוונות ומצמיח מודלים חדשים לבחון דרכם את המוגבלות כתופעה התלויה בהקשר. השאיפה במפגשי החברותא הינה ליצור מפגש מפרה עבור אנשים עם וללא מוגבלויות המגיעים לחקר המוגבלות מדיסציפלינות שונות. מטרות החברותא כוללות: יצירה של פלטפורמה להעלאת דילמות, היכרות מעמיקה יותר עם ההמשגה החלופית שמציעים לימודי המוגבלות וכן סיוע בפיתוח ידע ומיומנויות לשיח ומחקר ביקורתיים אודות מוגבלות, חברה ותרבות. באופן קונקרטי יותר, במסגרת מפגשי הקבוצה נעלה ונדון בשאלות וסוגיות מחקריות ומתודולוגיות מורכבות הנמצאות בליבו של שיח לימודי המוגבלות. בין השאר נדון ב: יחס שבין המשגה תיאורטית פוליטית לבין מחקר בתחום המוגבלות, מתודולוגיות מחקר המתאימות להמשגות אלו, יחסי כוח (מעמד החוקר אל מול מעמד הנחקרים), אתיקה, יישום המחקר בפועל, אופן הצגת ממצאיו ומידת התרומה של המחקר לקידום איכות חייהם של אנשים עם מוגבלויות וליצירת חברה שוויונית וצודקת יותר.

Disability Studies Critique
Disability Studies is a multi-disciplinary research field that is developing worldwide, recognizing disability as a social-cultural-political phenomenon. The field includes various research approaches and models, developed to examine disability from a context-dependable perspective. Our aspiration through the Chevruta meet-ups is to create a flourishing ground for people with and without disabilities from various disciplines, to meet and discuss a broad spectrum of issues regarding the field of Disability Studies.
The main goals of the Chevruta are creating a platform to raise dilemmas, create a deeper understanding of the updated definitions suggested by Disability Studies, to collaborate in developing knowledge and skills for discourse and research in the critique of disability, society, and culture.
More specifically, our meetings will enable participants to raise questions and discuss issues regarding research and methodology existing in this field. Among issues that will be discussed during our meetings, we shall include: the relations between political theoretical conceptualization and research, in the field of disability, research methodologies appropriate to these concepts, power relations between researchers and participants with disabilities, ethical issues, and research in practice. In addition, we will discuss the presentation of findings in this field, and the contribution of research to the quality of life of people with disabilities, aspiring to create a more equal and inclusive society
.We invite researchers from a broad spectrum of disciplines to join us, including PhD and Second-degree students from the following fields: Sociology, Law, History, Media, Film-Studies, Theatre, Art, Gender Studies, Cultural Studies, and Health-Care Professionals.

התנ”ך הוא טקסט בעל חשיבות עצומה. אמנם, הוא מגולל את קורותיו של עם אחד ומניח את יסודות האמונה המונותאיסטית, אך כמו בתולדותיו של כל עם, הוא גם סיפור על הישרדות וניהול מאבק קיומי, על מלחמה ושלום, על כיבוש ושיעבוד. ואולם, מאז התבססות חקר היחסים הבין-לאומיים כתחום אקדמי באמצע המאה שעברה, כמעט ולא נעשה מאמץ ללמוד ולהפיק לקחים מהיצירה המקראית לשדה הפוליטיקה העולמית בת זמננו. קבוצת “יחסים בין-לאומיים בתנ”ך” מניחה שאפשר להיעזר ביצירה המקראית לחקר היחסים הבין-לאומיים, במטרה לחשוב ולהרהר בצורה ביקורתית על תיאוריות בתחום, ולפתח תובנות חדשות לגביהן. מעבר לתרומה האקדמית, אנו סבורים כי מחקר מסוג זה יתקבל בעניין בקרב הציבור הרחב, כביטוי לחיבור של נכס צאן ברזל של העם היהודי לשאלות פוליטיות עדכניות בכלים “חילוניים”. אנו מזמינים דוקטורנטים ומאסטרנטים מכל הדיסציפלינות להצטרף להרפתקה אינטלקטואלית ולקדם פרויקטים מחקריים עצמאיים בחיבור שבין התנ”ך לפוליטיקה העולמית, כיד הדמיון הטובה עליהם.

International Relations in the Bible
The Bible is a text of utmost importance. Although it tells the history of one nation and lays the foundations for monotheism, like in the history of all nations, it is also a story about survival and existential struggle, about war and peace, occupation and subjugation. However, since the establishment of International Relations (IR) as an academic field of research in the mid-20th century, little effort has been made to draw lessons from the biblical text to modern-day world politics. “International Relations in the Bible” group postulates that the Bible can be of value to the study of IR, allowing us to think critically about extant IR theories and develop new understandings and perspectives. Beyond the academic contribution, we believe that research of this kind would be of interest to the general public, as an expression of the linkage that can be made between an inalienable cultural asset of the Jewish people and current political questions, using modern tools. We invite PhD and MA students from all disciplines to join us on an intellectual adventure and promote unique, innovative, and independent research combining world politics and the Bible.

8) עיונים בפילוסופיה פוליטית בראי אירועי השעה
נושאי הליבה בהם עוסקת הפילוסופיה הפוליטית – נושאים כמו חירות, שוויון, ציות, סמכות וצדק – נמצאים ברקע של מרבית הסוגיות האקטואליות שמככבות בכותרות העיתונים. לימוד של סוגיות אקטואליות היא הזדמנות לצלול ולהעמיק את ההיכרות עם היסודות הרעיוניים של התחום. מטרת הקבוצה היא לאפשר העמקה והיכרות רחבה עם היסודות הרעיוניים של הפילוסופיה הפוליטית וזאת על ידי עיון פילוסופי באירועי השעה. בדרך זו, ההתבוננות באירועי השעה מאפשרת לשמור את הפילוסופיה הפוליטית והעשייה אקדמית רלוונטיים לסוגיות בוערות, אך בד בבד, לקדם את הבנתנו את סוגיות אלה. בבסיס כל פגישה תעמוד שאלה פילוסופית על אודות עניין אקטואלי זה או אחר: מה הבעיה בשחיתות פוליטית? מהו פופוליזם והאם הוא רע? ועוד. השאלות יבחרו במשותף לאור תחומי המחקר והעניין של המשתתפים ולאור ההזדמנויות שהמציאות הפוליטית והחברתית תזמן. הדיון ייסוב סביב שאלות אלה ויסתייע בחומר קריאה פילוסופי רלוונטי. הקבוצה תיפגש אחת לשלושה שבועות למפגש של כשעה וחצי בכל פעם. בשאיפה, היא תפגיש יחדיו תלמידי מחקר העוסקים בפילוסופיה פוליטית ממסגרות אקדמיות שונות – פילוסופיה, מדע המדינה, משפטים, סוציולוגיה ועוד.

Philosophical inquires in current political affairs
The basic concepts of political philosophy – Freedom, Equality, political obligation, political authority, and justice – are at the background of most current political affairs. Thus, thoroughly examining the nature and meaning of current political affairs may offer an interesting opportunity to deepen our understanding of the basic political philosophy concepts. Examining current affairs, on the one hand, will emphasize the relevance of political philosophy to our day-to-day lives, while simultaneously shedding new light on the nature of the issues that will be examined. Each meeting will revolve around one contemporary, relevant issue: What is the problem with political corruption? What is Populism, and is it necessarily negative? And so forth. The issues examined will be chosen by the group according to the research and general interest of the participants, and the developments of our political reality. Each meeting will be accompanied by relevant reading materials. The group will meet once every three weeks for a one-and-a-half-hour long meeting. We wish that the group would be a hub for a philosophically informed discussion of current affairs and invite PhD students from any discipline (Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Law, and more) to participate.

9) Thoughts on Occupation: The Israeli Occupation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip (1967-)
During the activities, seminars and courses organized by the Hebrew University, the Thoughts on Occupation Working Group (TOWG) aims at providing a space for discussion and debate on issues related not only the to the theme of Israel’s occupation since 1967 but also the broader encounter between Israel and the Palestinian polity and society in its diversity and complexity. We will address diverse topics as the political economy of the Israeli occupation, the Palestinians under occupation, the settler-colonial debate, occupation and geography, Israel and the Arab World, etc. The group aims at offering a space for discussion and exchange about the main issues related to occupation but also a platform for researchers to present their work and receive comments from their peers. The group will meet monthly with a predefined theme, a reading list, and scholars with relevant expertise to initiate a discussion. At the end of each session, we will write a report in the form of an essay that will be circulated between the members of the group. We aim to edit and publish the collection of essays and organize a final workshop at the Hebrew University. Lectures and talks by guest speakers are also organized on a more regular basis. Students, PhD researchers, post-doctoral fellows, professors, and any other person interested in the topic are welcome to join and bring academic knowledge, field expertise, or just some open-mindedness to the group!

- מִתּוֹךְ עוֹלָמוֹת שְׁבוּרִים – השלכותיה של טראומה לאורך החיים
נושא הטראומה והשלכותיה על היחיד והחברה מצוי על סדר היום הציבורי לאור המלחמות, אירועי הטרור ואסונות הטבע המתחוללים בעולם. לפי נתוני סקר הבריאות העולמי, עולה כי מרבית האנשים חווים אירוע בעל פוטנציאל טראומתי אחד לפחות כבר במהלך הילדות, ועשויים לחוות אירועים נוספים לאורך החיים.
קבוצת ‘חברותא’ זו תשים במוקד את ההשלכות של טראומה באשר היא, ממגוון היבטים – החל מההשלכות הפסיכולוגיות, הבריאותיות וההתנהגויות על הפרט, ועד ההשפעות הגלובליות, החברתיות, הכלכליות והמשפטיות של חברות למודות טראומה. על גבי הטווח שבין פגיעה עמוקה והתדרדרות, לבין צמיחה פוסט-טראומתית ותופעות של התפתחות מתוך שבר עמוק. מטרת הקבוצה היא ליצור פורום עמיתים של תלמידי מחקר בתחום זה ובתחומים המשיקים לו. נושא זה, בהיותו אינטרדיסציפלינרי, עשוי להיות עשיר במיוחד בתוך דיון אינטגרטיבי המערב אסכולות שונות ותחומי ידע מגוונים (כגון פילוסופיה, סוציולוגיה, אנתרופולוגיה, לימודי תרבות, היסטוריה, ספרות, משפטים, פסיכולוגיה, עבודה סוציאלית, ייעוץ חינוכי וארגוני).
הקבוצה תיפגש אחת לחודש ותחומי הידע הספציפיים שידונו בה יקבעו לאחר הקמתה והבנת הצרכים של החברים בה. חברי הקבוצה מוזמנים להציג את עבודות המחקר שלהם להתייעצות, ולהביא סוגיות עדכניות מהמחקר בארץ ובעולם.

The Effects of Lifelong Trauma
The issue of trauma and its impacts on the individual and the society is on the public agenda considering the wars, terrorist events, and natural disasters that are taking place in the world. According to the World Health Organization, most people experience at least one potentially traumatic event in childhood and may experience such additional events during life.
This ‘Chevruta’ group will focus on the implications of trauma from a variety of aspects –the psychological, health, and behavioral implications for the individual and the global, historical, economic, and financial impacts on societies. On the range between deep damage or deterioration, to process of post-traumatic growth. The group aims to create a peer forum of research students in this subject, or relevant close ones, from diverse interdisciplinary fields of knowledge (such as philosophy, sociology, anthropology, cultural studies, history, literature, law, psychology, social work, educational and organizational counseling). The group will meet once a month. The specific areas of discussion are flexible and will be determined after establishing and understanding the needs of its members. The members of the group are invited to present their research projects for consulting and to bring up-to-date issues from the research in Israel and from around the world.
