The Research Institute of Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Institute for Holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies at UMass Amherst are launching a new, transnational program called “Encounters”: a series of meetings on new books in the research fields of the Holocaust, genocide, and mass violence. “Encounters” offers a unique opportunity for broad audience, scholars and laypeople, interested in these topics across national borders, to be acquainted with the field’s most recent works.
