מרכז אליאנס ללימודים איראניים (ACIS) מזמין מועמדות ומועמדים למשרת חבר.ת סגל במסלול חוקרים.ות בהיסטוריה של איראן ו/או של המרחב דובר הפרסית באחד או יותר מהתחומים הבאים: חברה, תרבות, פוליטיקה, דת, לאומיות, מיעוטים, כלכלה, סביבה ויחסים בינלאומיים. עדיפות תינתן לחוקרות וחוקרים שמעשירים את התחומים הייחודיים של המרכז, ובהם היסטוריה של איראן בעת החדישה והיסטוריה של יהודים בקהילות דוברות פרסית.
דרישות המשרה:
- תואר “דוקטור לפילוסופיה” במועד תחילת העבודה
- הצטיינות במחקר
- פרסומים אקדמיים שהתפרסמו או שהתקבלו לפרסום
- יכולת מחקר עצמאית בתחומים הרלבנטיים
- שימוש במקורות בפרסית
- כישורי הוראה
- ממקבל.ת התפקיד מצופה הגשה של הצעות מחקר לקרנות תחרותיות
הליכי המינוי של המועמדות והמועמדים ייעשו על פי נוהלי המינויים הנהוגים באוניברסיטה, בכפוף לאישור המוסדות האקדמיים המוסמכים ועל פי שיקול דעתם. הדרגה האקדמית תיקבע על פי כישורי המועמדות והמועמדים.
תאריך יעד לקליטה במשרה: 1 בינואר 2022 או 1 באוקטובר 2022, בכפוף להחלטת מוסדות האוניברסיטה שתימסר למועמד.ת עם הקבלה למשרה.
להגשת מועמדות יש לשלוח: מכתב פנייה הכולל תיאור קצר של המועמד\ת ומסלול חיים חינוכי ואקדמי (עד שני עמודים), קורות חיים, רשימת פרסומים, שתי דוגמאות לעבודות אקדמיות, ותיאור תמציתי של תכנית מחקר עתידית (בהיקף של עמוד). מועמדות ומועמדים שיעברו לשלב מתקדם יתבקשו לדאוג למכתבי המלצה שיישלחו ישירות ע”י הממליצים.

The Alliance Center for Iranian Studies (ACIS)
The Alliance Center for Iranian Studies (ACIS) at the Lester and Sally Entin Faculty of Humanities at Tel Aviv University is seeking research applicants for a part time faculty position in Iranian History and/or Persian-speaking world research track, within the following areas: society, culture, politics, religion, nationalism, minorities, economy, environment, and international relations. Preference might be given to candidates who can potentially enrich the Center’s unique fields of study, including the modern history of Iran and the history of Jews in Persian-speaking communities.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. at the time of filling the position
- Excellence in research
- Academic publications, published or accepted for publication
- Ability to do Independent research in the relevant fields
- Use of Persian resources
- Teaching skills
- Appointed recruits will be expected to submit competitive research grant proposals
Appointment procedures will be carried out according to the rules and regulations of Tel Aviv University and are subject to the approval of the University authorities. The academic rank will be determined by the applicant’s skills and qualifications.
Position to be filled by: January 1, 2022, or October 1, 2022, subject to the University’s decision, to be notified upon appointment.
Candidates should send their applications including a cover letter referring to their educational and academic life (2 pages max.), a CV, a list of publications, 2 samples of publications, and a short description of their next research project (up to 1 page). Applicants that are considered for next stage of screening will be asked to provide recommendations from senior scholars in the field
