מרכז הלפרן לחקר התודעה החברתית במסורת היהודית באוניברסיטת בר-אילן מזמין חוקרות וחוקרים להגיש מועמדות למלגת מחקר לשנת הלימודים האקדמית תשפ״ג במחלקה לתולדות ישראל ויהדות זמננו ע״ש ישראל וגולדה קושיצקי, בסך של 70,000 ₪ לשנה. המרכז תומך במחקרים אשר דנים בנושאים קשורים לתודעה חברתית ולחברה היהודית במבט היסטורי.
בנוסף, אנו מכריזים על מלגת בתר-דוקטורט משותפת של מרכז הלפרן ושל הקתדרה לחקר תולדות יהדות פולין ותרבותה ע”ש מרסל ומריה רוט, במחלקה לתולדות ישראל ויהדות זמננו באוניברסיטת בר-אילן, אשר מוקדשת לחקר החברה היהודית במזרח אירופה, בסך של 70,000 ₪ לשנה.
המלגות מיועדות להשתלמות בתר-דוקטורט, וזכאים להגיש להן מועמדות מי שעבודת הדוקטור שלהן/ם אושרה לכל המוקדם בשנת 2016. כל מועמד/ת מתבקש/ת להגיש:
• קורות חיים
• רשימת פרסומים
• תוכנית מחקר מפורטת למשך תקופת המלגה, כולל ביבליוגרפיה של עד עמוד אחד
• אישור זכאות לתואר דוקטור
• מכתב המלצה מהמנחה של עבודת הדוקטור
• מכתב המלצה ממנחה אשר מוכן להנחות אותם מבין אנשי ונשות הסגל הבכירים/ות מהמחלקה לתולדות ישראל ויהדות זמננו באוניברסיטת בר-אילן
תיק ללא כל החומרים המבוקשים יידחה על הסף.
הזוכים/ות במענק מתחייבים/ות להעביר הרצאה בחסות המרכז, להשתתף בפעילות המרכז במהלך שהותו/ה באוניברסיטה, ולציין את תמיכתו של המרכז בפרסומים הרלוונטיים בעתיד.

Call for Applications: Postdoctoral Research Fellowship
The Halpern Center for the Study of Jewish Self-Perception is issuing a call for applications for a post-doctoral fellowship in the amount of 70,000 NIS for the academic year 2022-2023, to be undertaken at the Israel and Golda Koschitzky Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry at Bar-Ilan University. The Center typically supports projects that deal with self-perception and/or Jewish societies in historical perspective.
An additional post-doctoral fellowship of 70,000 NIS will be offered jointly by the Halpern Center and The Marcell and Maria Roth Chair in the History and Culture of Polish Jewry for scholars focusing on eastern European Jewish History.
The fellowships are open to candidates who have completed their doctoral degree in 2016 or thereafter.
Candidates must submit the following materials:
• Curriculum Vitae
• List of publications
• Copy of doctoral degree
• Detailed research proposal, including a one-page bibliography
• Letter of reference from the doctoral advisor
• Letter from a faculty member of the Bar-Ilan Department of Jewish History who is willing to serve as mentor for the duration of the fellowship
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Postdoctoral fellows will be expected to deliver a lecture sponsored by the Halpern Center on their research over the course of the academic year, to participate in the activities of the Center, and is expected to acknowledge the Center’s support in all relevant future publications.
