Postdoctoral Associate in Ancient Judaism/History 2024-2026
The Program in Jewish Studies at Yale University is offering a two-year Postdoctoral fellowship that will begin on July 1, 2024. Candidates for the fellowship must have a Ph.D. in hand by July 1, 2024 and must have received the degree no earlier than 2021. The Program seeks a specialist in Ancient Judaism who will work closely with appropriate members of Yale’s faculty.
The Jewish Studies Postdoctoral Associate will be expected to be in residence, to conduct research in Yale’s library and archival collections, to participate actively in the intellectual life of the university, teach two courses, one per year with the expectation to teach two courses in Jewish Studies; with the option of substituting the organization of a conference, seminar, or colloquium for the second year’s course.
