The Journal of Indian and Asian Studies
The Journal of Indian and Asian Studies (JIAS) is pleased to invite submissions for publication in its July 2020 issue. The journal is a biannual peer-reviewed, open-access international academic journal, published jointly by the Institute of Indian Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (South Korea) and the World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd. (Singapore).
Aims and Scope:
The JIAS promotes both interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies. The journal invites submissions of research articles (around 8,000 words) and book reviews (around 2500 words) on Indian and Asian Studies. We particularly encourage authors to submit papers on “theories of transition” from the broad spectrum of social sciences and humanities. In addition, the journal is committed to promoting those studies that provide new perspectives on Indian and South Asian studies beyond the usual circuits of European and North-American scholarship.
Contributions must be original works, written in good academic English, and must not have been previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. This journal, in its special section, also invites non-English articles, translated into English, which may have already been published in other academic journals. Such types of articles, however, must meet the aims and scope of the journal.
Date of Submission:
Manuscripts can be submitted electronically to https://www.editorialmanager.com/jias/default.aspx or via email at jiaseditor@gmail.com. Submissions must be made no later than March 15th, 2020, for the July 2020 issue. Please prepare your manuscript according to the “Submission Guidelines” file attached herein.
