The Faculty of Theology at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is offering a full-time position for an academic assistant in Jewish studies and Jewish-Christian relations, beginning in October 2020.
The applicant is expected to pursue a well-defined and original research project (Phd or habilitation) in the field of Jewish studies and Jewish-Christian relations (broadly defined); Applications pertaining to all fields of Jewish studies are welcome. The holder of the position will be expected to teach at the faculty of theology in her or his field of research, to take part in organizing conferences, in establishing scholarly networks and programs, and in writing large-scale research proposals
Completed academic education in a relevant discipline; excellent writing skills, fluency in English; Knowledge of German, Hebrew and other languages is an advantage
