Announcement of Opportunity: Landscape Decisions Fellowships
UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) invite proposals to this call on the Strategic Priorities Fund programme on ‘Landscape Decisions: Towards a new framework for using land assets’. This is a four-year multidisciplinary programme jointly delivered by the Natural Environment Research Council, the Arts & Humanities Research Council, the Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council, the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council and the Economic & Social Research Council on behalf of UKRI.
Three types of fellowship in the area of landscape decision-making are available under this call: Research Synthesis, Research Translation and Community Engagement Research. The fellowships will be in the area of landscape decision-making and could address a number of challenges including (but not limited to):
- How to ensure landscape decisions are climate-resilient
- The engagement of diverse social and institutional groups with landscape decision-making;
- How to ensure landscape decisions take account of local and regional place factors and the role of emotions, values and finance in landscape decisions.
There is £1 million available for this call and fellowships can be held full- or part-time.
