Exchange of Experience From Research and Practice About Different Cultures of Remembrance
on 25 and 26 November 2020.
In this context, the focus will especially be on the challenges of the respective cultures of remembrance in these countries as well as the importance for their respective society.
During the free two-day online event, you will have access to high-level discussions and talks with the practical exchange of knowledge and experiences playing a significant role. You can expect a varied programme with around 20 speakers and live questions & answers. We are pleased to welcome participants such as the English linguist and Egyptologist Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Aleida Assmann, Dr. h. c. Esther Mujawayo-Keiner, the co-founder of AVEGA (Association des Veuves du Génocide Agahozo), and the historian Prof. Dr. Moshe Zimmermann.
