Tenure Track Position – Joint Appointment
International Relations and the Haifa Center for German and European Studies (HCGES)

The School of Political Science at the University of Haifa invites applications for a joint tenure track position in International Relations and the Haifa Center for German and European Studies beginning 1 October 2021. The position is open to individuals at all stages of their career, but candidates must have completed their Ph.D. degree by 1 Oct 2021. Candidates’ work should demonstrate innovative approaches to IR Theory and expertise in European politics and EU foreign policy. Faculty are expected to achieve proficiency in Hebrew within two years of hiring.
Please submit a letter of application, CV, evidence of scholarly publication, two writing samples and two recommendations. In your CV please indicate the JCR impact factor and ranking of your publications, the courses you have taught or plan to teach, and information about the size of your research grant (if any).
Final decisions, including assignment of rank, are subject to resource availability, consideration of the dean of the Social Sciences and a final decision of the rector (provost).
