Tenure Track Position

The School of Political Sciences at the University of Haifa invites applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure track position in all fields of government and political theory, beginning in Fall 2021. The position is open to individuals at all stages of their career, but candidates must have completed their Ph.D. degree by 1 Oct 2021. Post-Doctoral experience is an advantage. Candidates’ CV and list of publications should demonstrate excellence in their fields of expertise. University of Haifa language of teaching is Hebrew. Faculty are expected to achieve proficiency in Hebrew within two years of hiring.
Candidates should submit a letter of application articulating their research agenda, courses they can teach, and explain how they complement the existing strengths of the division. In addition, candidates should submit a CV, list of publications, two writing samples and two recommendations. In the list of publications please indicate the JCR impact factor and ranking of your publications. In the CV please indicate your teaching experience and details about past and current grants.
Final decisions on hiring, including assignment of rank, are subject to resource availability, consideration of the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and a final decision of the Rector.
