The Graduate Student Association of The University of Denver/Iliff School of Theology Joint Doctoral Program in the Study of Religion presents: Defining Justice in an Age of Turmoil eConference
Conference Dates: February 19-20, 2021
We welcome graduate student paper and panel proposals on any topics that engage interdisciplinary studies with the role of religion in defining justice in an age of global pandemic, racial division, and political and economic unrest.
Proposals should include a tentative title as well as author, institutional affiliation, and email address, along with an abstract of no more than 300 words that discusses the subject matter and methodology of the paper, as well as the significance of the subject within the broader field of interdisciplinary religious studies.

– Whiteness/Critical Whiteness Studies
– Healthcare
– Hope and Empathy
– Isolation and Social/Mental/Spiritual Wellness
– Death and Dying
– Education and Childcare
– Science and Technology
– Artificial intelligence (AI)
– Economic Theory
– Labor, Consumption, and Consumerism
– Media, Art, and Social Protest
– International Studies
– Globalization and Nationalism
– Social Ideologies, Conspiracies, and Confirmation Bias
