ASEEES 53rd Annual Convention - Diversity, Intersectionality, Interdisciplinarity
ASEEES (the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies) 53rd Annual Convention
November 18-21, 2021 New Orleans, LA • Hilton New Orleans Riverside
Theme: Diversity, Intersectionality, Interdisciplinarity
It is our hope and intention to host an in-person convention in New Orleans. We are also exploring the possibility of hosting a smaller virtual convention for those who cannot or choose not to attend in-person, the exact dates of which have not been determined. In the proposal submission process, you will be presented with an option to indicate your preference regarding in-person or virtual convention. Your selection will not commit you to in-person or virtual options; your selection also will not be part of the consideration in the proposal review process. We will address the question again prior to final scheduling. ASEEES will be carefully monitoring best practices and will make adjustments as necessary to ensure the health and well-being of our attendees.
If you postponed a panel or roundtable that was accepted for ASEEES 2020, you must resubmit your proposal for the 2021 Convention. To help reviewers evaluate submissions, mark the box indicating you are re-submitting a 2020 accepted proposal on the submission form.
