פורום היסטוריוניות במרכז מחקר פמיניסטי אשה לאשה חיפה בשיתוף פרויקט המחקר “היסטוריה איזורית של רפואה במזרח התיכון” באוניברסיטה העברית, המרכז לחקר האסלאם ע”ש נחמיה לבציון ומרכז הרצוג לחקר המזרח התיכון והדיפלומטיה, מזמין חוקרות וחוקרים להשתתף בכנס השנתי של פורום היסטוריוניות, לחקור נשים במזרח התיכון. הכנס השנה יהיה בינלאומי, ויערך ביום שלישי ה-6 ליולי, 2021, באופן מקוון.
הכנס יעסוק בהיסטוריה של בריאות ומגדר במזרח התיכון. מטרת הכנס להציג נקודות מבט היסטוריות מגוונות על יחסי הגומלין בין גופים ממוגדרים לבין ידע רפואי: בין הגוף החומרי לממסד הרפואי ובין סובייקטים ממגדרים שונים לבין תפיסות של בריאות ומגדר. נתעניין במאבקים לשינוי לצד מאמצים לשימור הבנות ופרקטיקות קיימות, בתמורות היסטוריות בתפיסות של בריאות, מגדר וזהויות מצטלבות. ההרצאות בכנס יתבוננו במקורות שונים: כתיבה רפואית, אתנוגרפית או ספרותית; היסטוריה שבעל פה; ארכיונים מדינתיים וקולוניאליים ועוד. נתעמק במרחב המזרח תיכוני בהגדרתו הרחבה, הכוללת את תורכיה, צפון אפריקה ואיראן.
אנחנו מזמינות היסטוריוניות והיסטוריונים, וכן חוקרות וחוקרים מדיסציפלינות קרובות, להגיש הצעות להרצאות או למושבים, שיבחנו סוגיות שונות הנובעות מנושא הכנס ומטרותיו. בין הנושאים האפשריים:
- נשים במקצועות הרפואה
- בריאות נשים וגניקולוגיה
- מגדר וידע רפואי
- הגוף הממוגדר, בבריאות ובחולי
- אמצעי מניעה, הפלה וילודה
- בריאות הציבור בהקשריה המגדריים
- ייצוגים אומנותיים וספרותיים של מגדר ובריאות
- נשים, בריאות ואזרחות
- מרחבים ממוגדרים ובריאות
- רפואה ואלימות מגדרית
להגשת הצעה להרצאה, עברית, ערבית או אנגלית, יש לשלוח שם, כתובת מייל ותקציר בן 300-250 מילה. להגשת הצעה למושב יש לשלוח את תקצירי ההרצאות ותקציר בן 300-250 מילה של נושא המושב ושמות המארגנות.
הצעות להרצאות ולמושבים ניתן לשלוח עד ה-1 20 במאי 2021, לכתובת womenhistoriansforum@gmail.com.
פורום היסטוריוניות החל לפעול ב-2017 תחת המרכז למחקר פמיניסטי באשה לאשה ומאגד חוקרות העוסקות בהיסטוריה של המזרח התיכון וישראל-פלסטין במאות ה-19 וה-20, אשר במוקד מחקרן היסטוריה חברתית ותרבותית של המרחב.

رؤى تاريخية حول الصحة والجندر
ينظم منتدى المؤرخات في مركز حيفا النسوي للدراسات – امرأة لامرأة: المؤتمر السنوي لمنتدى المؤرخات، ندعو الباحثات والباحثين للمشاركة في التقدم للمؤتمر السنوي تحت عنوان دراسة النساء في الشرق الأوسط. بالشّراكة مع مشروع بحث “تاريخ الطب الإقليمي في الشرق الأوسط” في الجامعة العبرية، ومركز نحميا لفتسيون لدراسات الإسلام ومركز هرتسوغ لدراسة الشرق الأوسط والدبلوماسية. وسيعد المؤتمر الدّولي عبر منصّات الانترنت يوم الثلاثاء السادس من تموز، 2021.
يناقش المؤتمر تاريخ الصحة والجندر في الشرق الأوسط. ويهدف لطرح رؤى تاريخية متنوعة حول العلاقة بين الأجساد المجندرة و المعرفة الطبية: بين كيان وهيئة المؤسّسة الطبيّة وبين الاخر من أنواع اجتماعيّة وجنسيّة مختلفة وبين توجهات الصحة والجندر. كما وسنهتم بالنضالات المختلفة من أجل التغيير الى جانب الجهود المبذولة من أجل الحفاظ على الفهم والممارسات القائمة، وبالبدائل التاريخية لفهم توجّهات الصحة، والجندر والهويات المتشابكة. تعالج المحاضرات في المؤتمر مصادر متنوعة: الكتابة الطبية، سواء اثنوجرافية أوادبية،؛ التاريخ الشفوي؛ الارشيفات الرسمية او الاستعمارية وغيرها. سنتطرّق بصورة أساسيّة لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط بمفهومها الشامل والتي تضم تركيا شمال افريقيا وايران.
ندعو المؤرخات والمؤرخين وكذلك باحثات وباحثين من توجهات قريبة لتقديم مقترحات لمحاضرات او ردود على المحاضرات، التي تخوض في قضايا متنوعة متعلقة بموضوع المؤتمر وأهدافه. من المواضيع الممكنة:
- النساء في المهن الطبية
- صحة النساء والطب النسائي
- النوع الاجتماعي والمعرفة الطبية
- الجسد المجندر في الصحة والمرض
- وسائل منع الحمل والاجهاض والولادة
- الصّحة العامّة في سياقتها الجندرية
- التمثيل الفني والادبي للجندر والصحة
- النساء، الصحة والمواطنة
- الفضاءات المجندرة والصحة
- الطب والعنف الجندري
من أجل تقديم مقترح محاضرة في اللغة العربية، العبرية أو الإنكليزية يجب ارفاق الاسم، عنوان الايميل وملخص 250-300 كلمة. من اجل اقتراح جلسة يجب ارسال ملخصات المحاضرات وملخص مكون من 250-300 كلمة حول موضوع الجلسة وأسماء المنظمات.

منتدى المؤرخات بدأ عمله في سنة 2017 في اطار مركز البحث النسوي امراه لامراه ويضم باحثات في تاريخ الشرق الأوسط وإسرائيل – فلسطين حلال القرنين التاسع عشر والعشرين، حيث تركز دراستهن على التاريخ الاجتماعي والثقافي للفضاء العام.

Call for papers for the third annual conference of the Women Historians’ Forum
Researching women in the Middle East
Historical perspectives on health and gender

The Women Historians’ Forum at the Haifa Feminist Research Center – Isha l’Isha, in collaboration with the “Regional History of Medicine in the Middle East” research project at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Nehemiah Levtzion Center for Islamic Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the Herzog Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Diplomacy at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, invites researchers to participate in the Women Historians’ Forum’s annual conference on Researching women in the Middle East.
This year, the conference will focus on the history of health and gender in the Middle East. It seeks to present diverse historical perspectives concerning the interrelationships between gendered bodies and medical knowledge: between the material body and the medical establishment, and between various gendered subjects and perceptions of health and gender. We are interested in struggles for change, alongside competing efforts to preserve existing practices and understandings of historical transformations of perceptions of health, gender, and intersectional identities. Conference papers will examine varied sources: medical, ethnographical, or literary writing; oral history; state and colonial archives, and more. We will delve into the region of the Middle East in its broadest definition, to include Turkey, North Africa, and Iran.
We invite historians, as well as researchers from adjacent disciplines, to submit proposals for papers or sessions that examine topics relevant to these themes and objectives. Possible topics include:
- Women in the medical professions
- Women’s health and gynecology
- Gender and medical knowledge
- The gendered body in health and in sickness
- Contraceptives, abortion, and childbirth
- Public health in its gendered contexts
- Artistic and literary representations of gender and health
- Women, health, and citizenship
- Gendered spaces and health
- Medicine and gender-based violence
To submit a paper proposal, in English, Arabic, or Hebrew, send contact information and an abstract of up to 300 words. For a session, please submit all paper abstracts and a 300-word session abstract with the names of the organizers.
