Culture Duke University, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies - Post Doc in Arabic Cultural Studies
The Department of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position in Arabic Cultural Studies. This position is a one-year appointment that begins August 1, 2022, with an option for a one-year extension. The appointee is expected to (a) teach three courses a year (in English), and (b) participate in scholarly events and activities in the department. The position is open to candidates with a Ph.D. from a variety of fields in the humanities and interpretive social sciences including but not limited to literature, anthropology, gender and sexuality, film studies and intellectual history.
