TEMKIN PROFESSOR IN MODERN HEBREW LANGUAGE & LITERATURE
JOB SUMMARY:
The George L. Mosse/Laurence A. Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for the Harvey L. Temkin and Barbara Myers Temkin Professorship in Modern Hebrew Language and Literature. Appointment will be as a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in the Center for Jewish Studies with the possibility of an affiliation with a relevant department. Appointment is to begin Aug 21, 2023.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching, research, and service; scholarship in Jewish studies with a focus on the literature of the Yishuv and the state of Israel.
