The History Department at Johns Hopkins University seeks to appoint a scholar to the Felix Posen Chair in Modern Jewish History. Scholars of any rank may apply. The successful applicant will be based in the History Department and will serve as an active member of the Stulman Program in Jewish Studies. Specialists in East-Central and Eastern Europe are particularly encouraged to apply as are scholars with research agendas grounded in the Middle East and/or North Africa. The successful candidate will possess a strong command of relevant research languages.
