8th Derrida Today Conference
The Derrida Today conferences are a means to bring together a community of Derrida and deconstruction scholars from around the world, and to showcase the latest work in Derrida Studies, and its relevance to cultural, political, and social practice.
The conferences were co-founded in 2008 by Nicole Anderson and Nick Mansfield. They are directed by Nicole Anderson and hosted biennially with colleagues from various institutions around the world.
The 8th Derrida Today Conference will be held at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Venue details, maps and accommodation will be advised shortly.

There are five keynote speakers for the 2022 conference:
- Etienne Balibar (Paris X)
- Anne Berger (Paris 8 Vincennes – Saint-Denis)
- Eduardo Cadava (Princeton)
- Two more keynotes to be announced
The program will be ready after attendance is finalized.
CONFERENCE FORMAT
The conference will be held in a hybrid format. This means:
- Delegates can present papers either in-person or online.
- Papers can be delivered in English or French
- All in-person sessions will be streamed and made available to all delegates after the conference.
