The Linda Hall Library invites researchers to apply for its 2024-25 fellowships in the history of science and related humanities fields. These fellowships provide scholars of exceptional promise with financial support to explore the Library’s collections and join a dynamic intellectual community of in-house experts, fellows, and scholars from other Kansas City cultural and educational institutions.
The Linda Hall Library is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive research environment and encourages members of any groups that have traditionally been underrepresented in academia to apply for fellowship support.
To apply, please click the button below and complete the online form. All application materials, including recommendation letters, must be received by January 19, 2024. For additional information about the Library’s fellowships and the application process, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page or email fellowships@lindahall.org.
Join Benjamin Gross, Vice President for Research and Scholarship, and Toni Bettasso, Coordinator for Research and Scholarship, for an online information session about the different types of research support available to historians of science and humanities scholars during the 2024-25 academic year.
Following an introduction to the Library and its collections, we will discuss our residential and virtual fellowships, provide an overview of the application process, and suggest several ways to strengthen your project proposal before the submission deadline (January 19, 2024).
