Call for Applications: Jewish Studies Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies at Boston University
The Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies at Boston University invites applications for a paid, one-year post-doctoral fellowship for 2018/19, with a salary of USD 47,500.
The post-doctoral fellow would be engaged in independent research, working toward a significant publication, usually toward the publication of their doctoral dissertation as a book, or on another advanced research project. Participation in the academic life of the Center is expected. The fellow would typically give one research presentation to our BU Jewish Studies faculty and graduate research forum.
We encourage applicants to highlight how their research relates to ongoing faculty interests at the Center, or how they plan to utilize archival holdings at Boston University, including the Martin Luther King Jr., the Rav Amram Blau, or the Elie Wiesel archives at the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center. Independent or assistant teaching may be arranged, but is not required and cannot be guaranteed.
