Lecturer in Philosophy
The University of Southampton seeks to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer in Philosophy.
The successful candidate will show outstanding potential as a philosopher, will be enthusiastic and flexible in contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and will be keen to participate fully in the intellectual and academic activities of a lively and committed department which prizes collegiality very highly. The ability to deliver research-led teaching in ethics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject area by the date of appointment as well as proven teaching skills.
