Tel-Aviv University’s School of Social and Policy Studies seeks to make a full-time, tenured-track appointment in its Program in Mediation and Conflict Management.
The candidate should demonstrate deep understanding of conflict resolution as a multi-disciplinary field and strong commitment to teaching and research.
Required Qualifications: Earned Ph.D. in Conflict Resolution or related fields such as Business, Economics, Law, Psychology, Public Policy and Sociology, with strong evidence of professional accomplishment in teaching and research.
Preferred Qualifications: Proven success in securing fundable grant proposals and other sources of external funding; Exemplary track record in teaching; Evidence of fruitful collaboration with researchers and practitioners in Conflict Resolution.
Rank: To be negotiated commensurate with experience, research accomplishment, and academic leadership potential/record.
Languages: Full command of Hebrew and English. Familiarity with other languages is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
Develop and teach courses in the various domains of conflict resolution, e.g. sociology, politics, psychology, applied economic theory, law, governance, and development, as well as the methodology courses related to these fields.
Mentoring and Supervising of Master Theses and Doctoral Dissertations.
