The Department of General History, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, invites applications for a tenure-track position in medieval European history, effective 1 October 2019.
Specialists of all regions of Europe and all methodological approaches are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in scholarship and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching.
The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. prior to appointment. S/he will be expected to teach in Hebrew.

• curriculum vitae.
• brief outline of research-in-progress.
• two published articles or other article/chapter-length writing samples.
• statement of teaching interests.
In addition, three letters of recommendation are required, which should be sent directly by the referees.

Salary and conditions will conform to Israeli University regulations. Appointment procedures will be carried out according to the rules and regulations of Ben-Gurion University and are subject to the approval of the University authorities.
