Post-doctoral research grants at the Fritz Bauer Institute
The Fritz Bauer Institute awards a post-doctoral research grant in the history and impact of the Holocaust. The prerequisite for the grant is a PhD in modern and/or contemporary history; funding is provided for a period of up to twelve months. A specific written result is required at the end of the funding period, in the form of a scientific essay or research proposal or a Habilitation paper or chapter thereof. Grant recipients are expected to give a public lecture at the Fritz Bauer Institute and are subject to a residence requirement to live in Frankfurt am Main. The grant is made possible through the generous private support of Christiane and Nicolaus Weickart.
