Doctoral Workshop - Historical Perspectives on Finance and Corporate Governance
25 June 2020, Riddel Hall, Queen’s University Belfast
In recent years there has been an increasing appetite by the leading journals in finance and economics for studies using history as their laboratory. Such studies provide new insights into contemporary issues. To further stimulate this development, Queen’s University Centre for Economic History invites PhD students to submit proposals for individual papers providing new historical perspectives on questions in finance and corporate governance. Accepted participants will receive feedback on their research from senior scholars.
There will be a limited number of scholarships awarded to help PhD students cover the costs of accommodation.
